Christmas Gift Guide part 2
Hello December and probably one of the busiest months of the year! The build up to Christmas is wonderful, the lights, songs on the radio, excitement of parties, get togethers and Christmas markets. It can be very stressful too so you need to stop and rebalance, and of course, it can be emotional for anyone who has lost someone very special. There are so many emotions that the build up to Christmas can be hard, so we want to help bring some enjoyment, comfort and fun to December. We have put together the final part of our Christmas gift guide to help you find gifts for your friends and family without leaving your home, made carefully and lovingly by us in our workshop, listening to Michael Bublé and singing along to the radio.
We designed our energy collection, “help me they say exercise is good for you”, to inspire and motivate however sluggish you feel. We have blended organic essential oils of Juniper Berry, Pine, Sweet marjoram, Lavender and Lemon, powerful antibacterial, energetic, stimulating essential oils. Perfect for active, sporty people to soothe and calm achy muscles (our massage oil), clear your sinuses so you breathe better (essential oil blend and reed diffuser) and help you create the perfect environment for study (room spray). You can burn the soy candle after cooking to fill your kitchen with a citrus herby scent, the perfect partner for cooking.
Life is hectic which can lead to tense shoulders, snappy thoughts and feeling all stressed out. Allow the essential oils in our chill out collection to destress and soothe your stress. We have blended palmarosa, geranium bourbon, ylang ylang and lavender, they have properties to destress and improve your mood. Try taking a bath by candlelight with our Bath Time Bliss Box, the light from the soy candle will soothe your tense scalp. Using essential oils around the home and workplace can really create a relaxing, calm atmosphere, why not include the aromastone in the Little Box of Essence, perfect for children’s bedrooms to help them relax and sleep.
Use essential oils to help you sleep, we have blended organic essential oils of Petitgrain, Ginger, Lavender and Eucalyptus in our sleep blend. The oils help to ease the reasons why you struggle to sleep. Petitgrain is from the same tree as neroli (petitgrain from the leaves not flowers) and is very sleep inducing especially blended with lavender. Ginger is very calming, soothing and eucalyptus clears your mind and sinuses. We suggest creating a bedtime routine. Try and stop using phones, tablets, laptops and tvs an hour before bed, maybe take a bath then read for a while. Use our room spray (2 bursts in 2 corners of a room(reduce to one burst in 2 corners for a childs room), then for an added boost of our blend, add 1-2 drops onto the aromastone and place next to your bed. Practising mindful breathing is the best way to slow your thoughts, before you know it, it will be morning.
Are you looking for the perfect way to pamper a pregnant lady or new mum? We have a fragrance free collection which is perfect. The massage oil is made with organic carrier oils to hydrate and replenish, this collection will help mum to feel relaxed which is very important. We have added a “mindful of calm” soy candle which is perfect to help her feel calm and is perfectly safe. This collection is also ideal for anyone who doesn’t like scent or has a sensitive skin as the oils used are allergen safe.
OUR NEWS:
We wanted to say thank you for your support this year, it has been a challenge for everyone but you have made this year much better and we appreciate it.
Next year we will be launching our Therapy Balms to help soothe and calm your skin. Made with organic ingredients and available in all of our six signature scents. We will tell you more next year but couldn’t keep our secret anymore!!
We will be writing four blog posts next year, geared to the seasons, the first being in February as we begin to move towards spring but let’s enjoy the wonder that is winter. Keep warm and safe. Use your essential oils to keep viruses and colds away. Remember to get outside in the fresh air as much as possible to move your body, celebrate our wonderful nature and inhale fresh healthy air. Try and sing your way through winter, have a dance around your kitchen to improve your mood, and hug, please hug. Hug a tree, hug your partner, hug your children/grandchildren, it is such a healing thing to do.
Leave fresh clean water out for our friends, up high and on the ground. Feed the birds and mammals and leave all the seedheads for tiny insects to sleep the winter away. Don’t tidy, leave the garden to sleep through the winter and you will see how much life you have looked after when spring comes. Our wildlife needs us, big and small. Cute and not so cute, they all need our love and care so please leave the leaves on the ground, hedges tall, shrubs uncut as you never know what is snuggled up underneath.
We are here thinking of you all over Christmas and wish you a lovely time with your friends and family. If you are alone this Christmas, if you look outside at the stars, we will be looking at them too so you are not alone afterall xx
On January 1st, we will be increasing our prices very slightly to help with the increasing costs.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Linda and Claire xx
